Inquire →Sacred art has always drawn hearts toward heaven. Every piece in this studio is made for that purpose — to hang in your home, wake the soul, and quietly draw all who see it closer to God.
Bottega Dei is a small Catholic art studio rooted in small-town Nebraska. Every piece begins by hand — in paint, pencil, and mixed media — and we partner with fellow American small businesses to print and package each order with care.
Our goal is simple: traditional Catholic art that encourages spiritual growth — and relights the flame of faith in every home where a Bottega Dei piece hangs.
Our name joins the Italian bottega — an artist's workshop — with the Latin Dei, "of God." Together: God's Workshop. It is a reminder of where the credit belongs. God gives artists their talents, and it is only through Him that anything beautiful is made here.
There is one more meaning hidden in our mark. The dove of peace traditionally carries an olive branch — and our artist's name, Olivia, means olive branch. In our logo, the dove carries a paintbrush instead — to symbolize the artist as God's instrument, carried into the world to do His work.
Olivia Dobesh
Olivia has been making art for as long as she can remember. As a cradle Catholic, she is passionate about sharing her faith through her God-given talent — and quick to say the credit is not hers.
She holds associate degrees in arts and science, and founded Bottega Dei to fulfill a deeper call: evangelize through artwork.
